Risk and Compliance Officer

Sean brings 35+ years of IT experience from the frontlines to the boardroom, having founded and led multiple successful technology companies. His unique blend of technical depth and business acumen ensures our compliance and risk frameworks protect the business while enabling agility.

 

  • Co-founded and exited three IT companies, including JSE-listed PentaCom
  • Oversees security compliance and risk management across all services
  • Ensures new team members are properly onboarded and technically validated

Sean brings over 35 years of IT industry experience to Si Futures, with a unique perspective gained from building and leading multiple technology companies. His journey from mainframe engineer to company founder gives him deep insight into both technical excellence and business risk management.

Having co-founded and successfully exited multiple IT companies, Sean understands the compliance and governance challenges that growing technology businesses face. His hands-on technical background combined with executive leadership experience ensures our compliance framework and training enables rather than hinders business growth.
